Christopher Chu

Founder & Lawyer

Christopher Chu is an Ontario-licensed lawyer with more than ten years of experience advising businesses on corporate and commercial matters, transactions, and operational legal issues. His practice focuses on supporting owner-managed and growth-stage companies with practical legal advice aligned with business objectives and execution timelines.

Christopher has advised on a broad range of commercial and transactional matters, including share and asset acquisitions and dispositions, commercial agreements, restructurings, and real estate transactions where property forms part of a broader business or investment strategy. He frequently acts in an external, in-house style capacity, supporting executives and business teams on day-to-day legal, commercial, and strategic issues.

He works closely with founders, senior management, and professional advisors to identify legal risk, support growth initiatives, and provide commercially grounded guidance across the lifecycle of a business. His approach emphasizes early involvement, clear issue-spotting, and efficient structuring to help clients avoid delays, manage cost, and execute with confidence.

Christopher’s practice is informed by regular collaboration with accountants, lenders, real estate professionals, and other advisors, allowing legal advice to reflect commercial, financing, and operational considerations in an integrated manner.
